Auburn Ridge is a 50-lot single family subdivision located in the rolling hills off Dubuque Street in Coralville. This subdivision included three cul-de-sacs, graded to maximize the possible number of walkout lots. Meade Avenue was also extended to complete the connection of Dubuque Street and 1st Avenue in Coralville.
MMS Consultants provided numerous environmental services for the Auburn Ridge Subdivision. MMS coordinated with the Department of Natural Resources, as well as Fish & Wildlife Services. MMS also helped secure an individual wetland permit and stream mitigation utilizing the Iowa stream mitigation method. During the project, federal environmental regulations changed, and MMS swiftly helped the client adjust to these new regulations.
MMS will continue to monitor the wetland mitigation in the area until 2027.
